The 14 July is, each year, a defining moment of national gathering in France. Festivities unfold across the country, featuring street entertainment, concerts, giant picnics, a popular dances, and shows for young and old.
As night falls, the fireworks take center stage and light up the towns, delivering a much-anticipated finale that brings locals and visitors together in a festive, convivial atmosphere. As part of the National Holiday, the town of Montrouge invites you, as usual, to its traditional fireworks display.
This year, the fireworks display is not to be missed, but beware: it won’t be staged on the big day but the day before, on July 13, 2026,, paired with a (great) program.
From 7 p.m. on Bastille Day, the Allées Jean Jaurès transform into a vast dance floor. Under the lanterns, to the sound of the DJ, everyone is invited to take a few steps. The evening culminates with a fireworks display, lighting the sky in a thousand colors around 11 p.m.
