The 14 juillet is a cornerstone date in France, and for good reason: it is none other than the day of the National Holiday! It commemorates, among other things, the storming of the Bastille, a pivotal moment in the French Revolution. On this occasion, the country buzzes with the traditional celebrations—between fireworks, firefighters’ balls and the military parade.
In Paris, two highlight moments await. As night falls, an iconic fireworks display is launched from the Eiffel Tower, preceded by a concert on the Champ de Mars. Caution, however: unlike usual, this year the two events will be held on the eve, namely July 13, 2026, the evening before.
