You won't find a basic, classic galette des Rois at the Glacerie Paris counter. Instead, forEpiphany 2024, Meilleur Ouvrier de France David Wesmaël has come up with a tasty and, above all, original galette des Rois!
This graphic galette des Rois, glazed of course (we haven't said it yet, but at La Glacerie, it's a no-brainer!), follows in the footsteps of the House's 2023 Christmas log collection, which, like a return to its roots, draws on the essential pastries of French patisserie for this generous collection of logs and bûchettes.
The same goes for the galette des Rois, inspired by the timeless blackcurrant Mont Blanc. This epiphanic crown is made with vanilla Ardèche chestnut ice cream, vanilla ice cream, an excellent Burgundy blackcurrant sorbet flavored with dark rum, layers of crunchy French meringue and strands of Ardèche chestnut paste on top.
A creation that will delight children and adults alike, gourmets who love original galettes des Rois and ice cream lovers, of course! Not to mention the modern, voluminous look of this galette, sure to impress your guests.
