To celebrate European Heritage Days, taking place on September 19 and 20, 2020, the Musée Curie exceptionally opens all weekend long to provide self-guided tours of the museum, as well as an outdoor guided tour. Both tours are accessible from 15 years old.
What a wonderful way to discover the Curies’ universe, the family who won five Novel Prizes (Marie got two, her Husband Pierre, her daughter Irène and her son-in-law Frédéric Joliot) whose discoveries allowed to understand the phenomena of radioactivity and create major medical applications.
Set in Marie Curie’s former home, where she actually studied and taught radioactivity over a century ago, the Musée Curie offer several instructive tours and activities to enjoy with your family. You can visit the scientist’s office, the chemistry laboratory kept as it was or even the amphitheater where she taught her classes.
