Museums Night 2018 at Paris Philharmonie

Paris Philharmonie hosts the 14th edition of the European Museums Night set under the sign of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. On Saturday May 19, 2018, meet from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. to discover a special program, accessible for free and without prior booking!

Beyond the architectural and artistic heritage, Paris Philharmonie wishes to celebrate Museums Night 2018 by focusing on our “common musical heritage”.

To do so, please welcome the young musicians of Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris. From 7 p.m., they will perform legendary pieces of the classic repertoire. Here’s an abstract of what to expect:

  • Johann Sebastian Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No.3 in G major, BWV 1048
  • Hector Berlioz: Fantastical Symphony (A Ball and March of the Scaffold)
  • Maurice Ravel: Pavane for a Dead Infanta
  • Anton Dvořák: Quartet No.12 in F Major Op. 96, “American” – Lento
  • Henri Tomasi: To be or not to be

What if Museums Night was a synonym for a beautiful music night? Let’s say yes!
