From the remains of a Gallo-Roman seaside resort to Claude Pigeard's forge, visitors are invited to enter the heart of the history of the region and of this establishment hosting workshops, guided tours and events. Lovers of green walks can also enjoy the museum's pretty, medieval-inspired gardens, bathed in a bucolic atmosphere.
Today, the museum and gardens provide a sumptuous setting for theatrical and choreographic performances, concerts, film screenings, exhibitions and artist residencies. Visitors can also take advantage of touch-screen tablets to digitize information and simplify access. In short, a great place to learn all about the tools and their functions!
