Nuit des Musées 2024: at the Musée Espace Gaïa (77), a plunge into prehistory

If there's one subject that fascinates children of all ages, and even parents, it's prehistory and archaeology. Who wouldn't be interested in the beings, creatures and history that have gone before us? This little-known museum explores the Earth's earliest history, with exhibits focusing on dinosaurs, sharks, rock art...

This Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Musée Espace Gaïa is opening its doors to us free of charge in the evening, for an exciting plunge into the heart of History. Curious visitors of all ages are invited to join us for a special nocturnal visit.

Every year in spring, this not-to-be-missed event in the Paris region invites us to enjoy a wide range of free evening visits, often accompanied by special events. • Prehistory, the fabulous odyssey of man" exhibition
  Saturday, May 18, 9:00 pm
  

  The history of mankind
  
  An exhibition on the origins of mankind, with a glimpse of the fauna that accompanied it during the Pleistocene.
  Panels and activities for children will complete the exhibition.
  Two 1/1 scale sculptures: woolly rhinoceros and saber-toothed tiger, kindly donated by the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris, will give visitors a better understanding of the size of these emblematic animals.
