Music lovers, we have some good news! The American festival Lollapalooza launched in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction leader, Perry Farrell, is coming to France in 2019.
Seen as one of the biggest festivals in the world, gathering over 120,000 festival goers per day in Chicago each summer, Lollapalooza has been created in the United States in the early 90’s.
Buoyed by this success, in 2011 Lollapalooza won over Santiago, Chile, São Paulo, Brazil, in 2012 before coming to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2014.
But, the festival did not stop here since it even reached Berlin, Germany, in 2015.
In 2017, Lollapalooza came to France, in Paris, for its very first edition. Facing the success, the event is coming back to Paris Hippodrome de Longchamp on Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21, 2019 with an explosive lineup!
Remember, in 2018, the festival welcomed Depeche Mode as well as The Killers, Diplo, Noel Gallagher, Stereophonics and even Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Kasabian.
This year, for the edition 2019, you'll find The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots, Orelsan, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals as well as Martin Garrix, IAM, Bad Bunny and The 1975.
You'll also have Lolla Chef, skillfully mastered by Jean Imbert and the chefs he thoroughly selected, Kidzapalooza for kids and Lolla Planète, the area dedicated to sustainable developent and raising awareness about environmental issues and humanism.
Let’s recall that back in Chicago, the American festival welcomed artists such as Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Metallica, Cypress Hill, Pearl Jam and more recently, Lana Del Rey, Major Lazer, Foals, Paul McCartney, Florence And The Machine, Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, Kings Of Leon…
