Unmissable British band made famous in 2004 with hit track “Somewhere Only We Know”, Keane is back on stage.
Fifteen years after the first opus and seven years after the latest one, “Strangeland”, Keane will be back with a new album.
Some good news for fans of the band since, at the end of the 2013 tour, the band didn’t know if they will continue playing together.
Leader and singer Tom Chaplin felt ready to write his own music and make a solo album. His reconciliation with Keane songwriter since always Tim Rice-Oxley took some years… It’s in February 2019 they meet again in studio in deep Sussex with no fewer than 17 keys to record new tracks… The new album, called “Cause and Effect” is said to be out in stores on September 20, 2019.
And to top it all, Keane announced an exclusive and intimate concert in the small Parisian La Maroquinerie venue on Monday June 24, 2019. To get the chance to attend it, don’t forget that tickets are available starting June 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. (CEST).
For the record, Keane sold millions of albums, released 4 albums and one EP and a Best Of, won two Brit Awards, an Ivor Novello award and their first album, “Hopes and Fears”, was ranked in the top 40 most sold albums in the United Kingdom.
