Extend your summer vacations in the Parc André Citroën, not far from the Eiffel Tower, for the latest edition of the Paris New-York Heritage Festival. The Parisian version of the festival of the same name, this event awaits you on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023, in a playful, pastoral setting. On the program? DJ sets, breakdancing, a skatepark, a hot-air balloon trip, round-table discussions and open-air concerts, to be discovered on a unique straw-bale stage!

After six editions already, Paris New-York Heritage Festival is organizing two new days of festivities. To make the most of them, join us on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Parc André-Citroën.

The event is usually held in 6 cities around the world (Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal and Johannesburg), and its mission is to recall the origins of music from African, Afro, Latin American, Latin, indigenous and European cultures, which have shaped the music of today. The Paris New-York Heritage Festival returns to the capital this autumn with a concept that has been thought out and thought through in an ecological and conscious manner.

For two days, the festival teams create a 500m² open-air haystack arena. No less than 120 bales of straw (i.e. 50 tons of straw) will take over the famous park in the 15th arrondissement of Paris to form a straw-bale arena where the artists will perform. This material has the advantage of absorbing noise.

On the program? Music, with concerts and dj sets, but also round-table discussions, gastronomy to satisfy everyone's taste buds, a hot-air balloon trip over Paris, not forgetting breakdance and a skatepark. Note that this new 7th edition of the Festival will be highlighting the"close links between arts and sport at the Festival Formes Olympiques". Taking place at the same time as the Journées du Patrimoine, the fiftieth anniversary of hip-hop and the thirtieth anniversary of the Parc André Citroën, the Paris New-York Heritage Festival looks set to make for a wonderful weekend as we await the famous 2024 Olympic Games.

After welcoming Roy Ayers, Tony Allen, Erik Truffaz, Wax Tailor and Keren Ann, this year's Paris New-York Heritage Festival features Jupiter & Okwess, Kyoto Jazz Massive & Echoes of A New Dawn, Guts and the Gospel'n'Life Harmony choir.
