Europe's largest indoor venue is located in Paris, not far from the Grande Arche de La Défense. Throughout the year, the Paris La Défense Arena hosts numerous concerts, shows and sporting events. Planning to go there soon? Here are a few practical tips to help you prepare your visit and get to the Paris La Défense Arena easily.

Since October 2017, Europe's largest indoor venue has been just a stone's throw from Paris, and more precisely in Nanterre. With a capacity of between 15,000 and 40,000 spectators, Paris La Défense Arena boasts the largest modular capacity in Europe! An advantage that the U Arena doesn't hesitate to exploit when hosting some of the world's greatest artists.

Since its inauguration, many of the world's biggest stars have graced the Paris La Défense Arena stage, including the Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, Pink, Mylène Farmer, Rammstein, Iron Maiden and Elton John. The U Arena is soon to open its doors to the great Céline Dion, M Pokora and Bigflo & Oli. If you're due to visit Paris La Défense Arena for this occasion, or to watch one of the Racing 92 matches, then here's everything you need to know before you come.

If you've never sat in the stands of the Paris La Défense Arena, the U Arena is located in the heart of La Défense, an area with excellent public transport links.

The nearest station is La Défense (Grande Arche), which users can reach on RER line A, metro line 1, tramway T2 or Transilien lines L and U. Once outside, simply take exit N°2 (Dôme - Valmy / Arena) and follow the signs to the U Arena.

If you take the RER A, you can also get off at Nanterre-Préfecture station.

And if you choose to come by car, don't panic, as Paris La Défense Arena has several partner parking lots, including the Parking Villon (47 Rue Paradis, 92800 Puteaux), accessible from the A86 / A14 motorway, or the Parking Coupole Regnault (12-15 Square Henri Regnault, 92400 Courbevoie), which can be reached from Paris.

Remember to use the parking lots on match nights, as the U Arena area is not accessible by car on these evenings.
