Cradled by the sun and sounds of Latin America, Sonora de Cumbear has but one vocation: to get Paris dancing and take cumbia to the four corners of the Hexagon. Multi-instrumentalist, singer, dj and producer, "El Súper Desperado" from Ménilmontant is a specialist in Cumbia in all its forms. In his cumbiero lab, he mixes, remixes and mashups Colombian, Mexican, Amazonian and Argentinean cumbia with hip-hop and Reggae-Dance Hall. On stage, he switches simultaneously from turntables to melodica, from vocals to güiro, on his own productions or traditional cumbia songs. Dj Dany Romero is one of the leading djs specializing in Latino music in France and Europe!
Born in Paris, Dany grew up between France and Puerto Rico, coming from a family of several generations of magicians who passed on a great artistic heritage to him from an early age. He is also a radio host, a percussionist in a salsa orchestra and a singer with his song Bandida.
