Are you looking for parks and places featuring splash pads or water games? Let’s have a look at the best spots in Paris to cool off in case of a heatwave.
Parc André Citroën
If you’re looking for a corner where you can bathe and sunbathe too, Parc André Citroën has everything you’re looking for. With its 72 water jets splashing out randomly on a huge place and its 14 acres of pitch, that’s the perfect spot.
Jardin d’Acclimatation
The Jardin d’Acclimatation has everything to really cool off children and adults. Between the Jardin-plage and its many splash pads, the dry fountain near the Porte Gandhi filled with water jets and water misters all along the park entrance, you’ll feel very well.
Parc Martin Luther King
Clichy-Batignolles park features a splash pad area set between the gardens and the pools, before the smithy. 50 water jets in a harmonious ballet that make children and adults happy especially if they are looking for some freshness in the afternoon.
Trocadéro
The Trocadéro gardens face the Seine and our beautiful Iron Lady. They’re crossed by alleys along the Warsaw fountain made of several pools. The biggest one includes water cannons forming dozens of water showers springing out from the surface. If you happen to find yourself close, they also dual as water misters and people dip their feet – and even more – into it in the summer.
Place de la République
In the summer, the famous Parisian square activates its water mirror to send fresh air to tourists and Parisians.
Paris Plages Île aux Brumes
Right after the Pont-Neuf, a water mister garden expects you to cool you off with kinds of showers spraying a fine mist we enjoy when it’s hot, every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Well, of course, if it’s not enough for you, you can go straight to La Villette and jump in its free pools.
Come on, let’s walk in the water to make us feel good!
