In agreement with the Préfecture de Police, the Tuileries funfair is back from Saturday July 4 to Sunday August 30, 2020. Do not miss this incredible human-size family funfair in full heart of Paris.

Children and adults are all expected in the Jardin des Tuileries for the yearly funfair held from Saturday July 4 to Sunday August 30, 2020. Created about 20 years ago, the Tuileries funfair or Fête des Tuileries is the second largest Parisian funfairs after the Foire du Trône that has been cancelled this year.

To stick to health requirements, the Tuileries Funfair will set up a 5,000-people gauge, provide visitors with hand sanitizer, and facemasks are recommended and mandatory on some rides.

Nonetheless, the Fête des Tuileries is more traditional and family-oriented. It takes place within the magnificent Tuileries garden, between the Concorde and the Louvre.

Little details are known for the edition 2020, carnies being still settling in. Last year, the Tuileries funfair provided the Paris Ferris Wheel, that used to be at the Place de la Concorde. If you are not faint of the heart, there was the Booster, one of the highest rides in Europe up to 60 meters above the ground. There also were more classic rides such as bumper cars, and flying chairs for children and adults.

Kids enjoyed a lovely train ride, small cars, and rode horses on the vintage merry-go-round. They can also let off steam with trampolines. As for bigger children, they can look for thrills in the ghost train, try an obstacle run, or enjoy a refreshing slide, we can hardly resist thrilling rides.

In addition to rides, we tried our hand to coconut shy, archery, riffle, penalty shout-outs, hook a duck. Remains to see if all these rides will be set up for summer 2020.

And of course, the greediest visitors can enjoy the compulsory waffles, churros, cotton candies and toffee apples.
