Monument Jeu d'Enfant 2023: the Hôtel de la Marine pulls out all the stops for children this weekend

For the first weekend of the All Saints' vacation season, parents and children are taking part in a not-to-be-missed event that's as much fun as ever: Monument Jeu d'Enfant. Numerous monuments across France are opening their doors to curious youngsters, to help them discover our exceptional heritage in a fun and educational way.

This year, on Saturday andSunday, October 21 and 22, 2023 ,we'll bevisiting theHôtel de la Marine in theheart of Paris. This magnificent monument invites us todiscover its history through various tours and workshops for the whole family, revealing all the secrets of the place .

Located on the Place de la Concorde, the Hôtel de la Marine was originally designed as a furniture depository for the Kings of France. After the French Revolution, this exceptional showcase was used as offices by the Ministry of the Navy. It wasn't until 2015 that the Navy left the premises. The buildings were then restored and opened to the public as a national monument and exhibition space.

Let's eat! The Hôtel de la Marine will be putting on a show and holding a gastronomic workshop, so you and your family can discover the monument in a whole new way! Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22, 2023, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• THEATRE "La grande cuisine du petit Léon".
  Three performances in the Salon d'Honneur of the Hôtel de la Marine
  Saturday October 21: 3pm Sunday October 22: 10am and 3pm
  Public: Children aged 3 to 11 and their parents
  
  Discover that vegetables are superheroes, and smell aromatic herbs live! At the Croc' Nain restaurant, the chef is an ogre, and Léon is his only son, aged 7. One morning, little Léon finds himself alone in the kitchen. For this little gourmet, it's a golden opportunity to play in the kitchen and take on some responsibility. But at the end of a day full of adventures, will Léon's menu please his surprise guest?

• Et Toque" WORKSHOP.
  To celebrate the arrival of Le Cordon Bleu workshops at Hôtel de la Marine, children are invited to make and personalize a chef's hat.
  Free access on Saturday and Sunday.
