Monument Jeu d'Enfant is back for its 25th edition! Once again this year, the Château de Champs-sur-Marne welcomes visitors young and old on the weekend of October 21 and 22, 2023. Take advantage of this special open house to discover one of the region's most beautiful châteaux, and take part in the activities planned for the whole family.
All over France, national monuments are opening their doors to welcome young and old alike, and introduce them to France's heritage through free, fun activities . This cultural event gives children the chance to visit and appreciate the wealth of France, thanks to activities planned especially for them. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, families can look forward to an exciting program!
One of the highlights is the Château de Champs-sur-Marne, an 18th-century treasure nestled in the Seine-et-Marne region. Paul Poisson de Bourvallais, secretary to the Royal Council of Finance, was convicted of embezzlement and sent to the Bastille. To escape imprisonment, the owner of the Champs estate sold his property to the State.
Today, the estate houses a furnished château and a remarkable garden, which enchants all visitors. To find out more about this exceptional monument, take part in the activities planned for the Monument Jeu d'Enfant event this weekend!
What a promise! What more could you ask for than a weekend in the heart of nature, enjoying the beautiful colors of autumn? Shall we go?
