The Family Pride festival, kids friendly, free and inclusive, from May 20 to 21 at the Cité Fertile

From May 21 to 23, 2023, the Family Pride Festival plans to gather several thousand people around round tables, shows and workshops, in order to inform and raise awareness around LGBTQIA+ family issues, free of charge, at the Cité Fertile. So, shall we spend a head there?

For the second edition of the festival, on the weekend of May 20 and 21, 2023, the association Collectif Famille.s supports LGBTGIA+ families and raises awareness among citizens (or anyone else who is interested in the cause), with a colorful event, entirely free of charge but above all, inclusive and open to all.

With a program placed under the sign of inclusion and many professionals present -sociologists, lawyers, psychologists, artists, journalists- the Family Pride Festival is an appointment not to be missed, for young and old alike, around five major themes. All weekend long, it's an opportunity to exchange with other families, parents, professionals on becoming a parent when you are queer, on new family models, on the place left to LGBTQIA+ families in the school system or on diversity and inclusion of these families in organizations (especially companies). Whether your family is LGBTQIA+ or not, it is also an opportunity to highlight and become aware of the issues that these "different" families face on a daily basis, to discuss around a meeting aperitif, to debate during a round table or a conference.

Without forgetting the playful side of the festival! The little ones are not left on the sidelines since they have their own space all weekend long, the Kids Corner, with workshops all day long, a daycare center, a make-up stand, a treasure hunt, several shows, as well as theinevitable boom, on the program. For the little ones, a baby area offers floor games, with a dining and changing area for the parents, while the teens have their own Teens Spot with a chill out area, video games, but above all, workshops forbidden to parents!

While the kids are busy, go and enjoy the animations for parents/adults, with the exhibitors' market, the round tables, the conferences, the authors' signing sessions, the performances or, the highlight of the festival: the parties, like the queer disco glitterparty and its DJ sets or the Drag Show party and its drag queens show (some of which have participated to Drag Race France) Particularly inclusive, the festival is entirely free, but above all, it is open to all, on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May 2023: have you taken your tickets?
