Following its debut in Lyon at Le Heat, two editions at La Cité Fertile in Pantin, and another in Montpellier at Domaine d'O, the Family Pride Festival returns to Paris, at Ground Control. For its fifth edition, the event is set for May 23–24, 2026, welcoming families and anyone with a serious or casual interest in the cause.
Because the idea behind this festival is to support the LGBTGIA+ families and raise awareness among citizens, through a lively, colorful event that is entirely free and, above all: inclusive and open to all.
All weekend long, the Family Pride Festival 2026 provides a platform for families, parents, and professionals to discuss what it means to become a parent when you’re queer, the emergence of new family models, the role of LGBTQIA+ families in the school system, and a host of other topics and issues.
Not to mention the festival’s playful side! The little ones aren’t left out, since they’ll have their own space all weekend long—the Kids Corner—featuring workshops, a daycare, board games, a makeup stand, and the indispensable giant dance party with a DJ set for the whole family.
While the kids are busy, head over to the activities for parents and grown-ups: the round table, the 20 discussion groups for every parenting style, the queer mass, the upcycling workshops, the queer choir, the bookstore with author signings, not to mention the festival highlight of the Family Pride Festival 2026: the family drag show!
