Bonus: free activities and story readings for children at the Mot pour Mots festival

This Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22, 2025, there'll be no shortage of outings in Paris and the greater Paris region! Between the Fête de la Musique, the return of the Olympic cauldron to the Jardin des Tuileries and other village festivals in various towns in the inner suburbs, family outings abound, and all for the better! In the 19th arrondissement of Paris, the Mot pour Mots literary festival offers two days of festivities, with an attractive program for families and children.

What's on the program? Readings, writing workshops, creative sessions, storytelling... For children aged 1 to 10, at Little Studio.

The youth program of the Mot pour mots 2025 festival:

Saturday, June 21st

• 11 a.m.: Reading of accessible stories in French, from age 1
• 12pm: Raconte-tapis, ages 3 and up
• 1pm: kamishibai reading, ages 3 and up
• 2pm: Storytelling in the woods, ages 4 and up
• 3pm: reading of tales accessible in LSF, from 1 year old
• 4pm: "pop-up" creation workshop, ages 3 to 10
• 5pm: Anthony Browne discovery workshop, ages 4 and up

Sunday, June 22nd

• 1pm: kamishibai reading, ages 3 and up
• 2pm: hieroglyphic writing workshop, ages 5 and up
• 3 p.m.: carpet storytelling, ages 2 and up
• 4pm: Bookmark-making workshop, ages 5 and up
• 5pm: digital storytelling, ages 1 to 9
