To support new parents during their child's first days, Paris has opened its first 'Houses of the 1000 Days,' offering free welcome spaces in the 18th and 20th districts.

There are few dedicated spaces in the capital to support young parents as they navigate the exciting journey of welcoming a baby into their home. That's why the first Homes of the 1000 Days have been established in the 18th and 20th arrondissements to offer guidance and support. Why '1000 days'? These early days—from the end of pregnancy until a child's second birthday—are critical for promoting health and healthy development.

These spaces are free and open to everyone, whether you're expectant parents, parents of children under two, or family members and professionals. They provide a place to meet and connect with other parents and future parents, share questions and experiences, access reliable information, participate in workshops, learn practical tips for your little ones, meet professionals, suggest activities, and most importantly, feel heard and supported during a sometimes challenging time.

Discover the opening hours and a variety of activities offered each week at these community centers, including performances, discussion circles, trico-therapy, workshops, and life-saving skills, tailored to your neighborhood.
