Mot pour Mots 2025, the free literary festival at La Grande Halle de La Villette

For this fifth edition of Mot pour Mots, discuss, debate and discover numerous authors and artists, at the Grande Halle de la Villette, on June 21 and 22, 2025. This literary festival, organized jointly by Le Monde, Le Nouvel Obs and Télérama, features meetings, round tables, signings, readings by actors, workshops and entertainment for all ages! Come and enjoy nearly fifty free events over a weekend dedicated to literature!

This annual festival has become a must for book lovers. This 2025 edition takes us into the world of music, and welcomes big names from the world of books and comics. This year's festival is sponsored by Lola Lafon.

It's an opportunity to meet some forty guests, selected by each of the participating editorial teams, including writers, cartoonists, illustrators, translators, poets, literary critics, artists from the world of music... who will discuss their latest books, current events and social issues in inspiring debates! Pénélope Bagieu, Denis Podalydès, Susie Morgenstern, Olivier Norek, Neige Sinno, La Grande Sophie, André Comte-Sponville and Marie NDiaye are just some of the exciting names on the panel!

Some of the free events are open to the public, but they're in high demand, so don't forget to sign up to secure your place! At the Little Studio, an entire children's area also welcomes children in workshops adapted for youngsters, to help them discover a colorful world, while their parents take part in round-table discussions and other activities.
