The Saint-Germain-des-Prés Book Fair is back on June 6 and 7, 2026 for a third edition on the legendary Saint-Germain-des-Prés Square. More than 70 authors, including Sidonie Bonnec, Maryse Burgot, Michel Cymes, David Foenkinos, Marc Levy, and Bernard Werber, are expected to meet readers and bring this literary neighborhood to life for a weekend.
What a chance to enjoy two days of literature by meeting the authors and discussing their works, but it’s also an opportunity to develop your writing talent, thanks to the writing school LES MOTS, not to mention other ateliers de lecture, de BD et de calligraphie à destination des adultes et de la jeunesse au sein de l’Hôtel Bel Ami. Une dictée géante prendra également place au sein du festival pour perfectionner sa maitrise de la langue française.
A major novelty, inspired by the heyday of the Deux Magots, a literary cafe sets up opposite the iconic venue to host debates, conferences and gatherings. Meet in front of the church’s millennial bell tower to stock up on new books before summer, during this free festival open to all. But don’t forget to register for the workshops to secure your place as soon as they open!
