Science lovers beware! The Fête de la Science is back all over France. From October 3 to 13, 2025, museums, libraries, media libraries and universities will be hosting a wide range of events, including laboratory visits, science cafés, live shows, experiments and walks through the many science villages.
During the Fête de la Science, thousands of scientists, teachers, cultural mediators and librarians share their enthusiasm and curiosity for science, technology and innovation with the public through a wide range of events. Every year, over a million visitors take advantage of the Fête de la Science to learn more about this discipline.
So, what's in store for young and old at this 2025 event? In Paris and the greater Paris region, there's a whole host of events not to be missed. If you live in the Seine-et-Marne region, head for the commune of Moissy-Cramayel, for example. Located around 31 km from Paris, Moissy-Cramayel is surrounded by several towns, including Lieusaint, Combs-la-Ville, Évry-Grégy-sur-Yerre, Réau and Savigny-le-Temple. Throughout the year, Moissy-Cramayel takes part in a number of cultural events. This autumn, it's time for the Fête de la Science, with events at the Médialudothèque La Rotonde and the IUT Sénart.

Using quizzes, currently available AI tests, debates and discussions, we'll develop:
1) What is AI and why has it become a topic today
2) What is an AI algorithm: you'll find out by doing some fun exercises
3) What is deep learning, a neural network, what is the relationship between artificial intelligence and our brains
4) What is machine learning and how does it work to train artificial intelligence
5) Going further, depending on the length of the workshop :
- Current limits of artificial intelligence: potential errors and biases
- Artificial intelligence professions: data scientist, data analyst, what skills are needed for these professions of the future
Through various games and quizzes, participants discover how AI works and learn to recognize images generated by AI. During this event, 3 modules are proposed: AI or not AI, differentiating AI from reality and Nim's game, an activity to discover the principle of self-learning algorithms through iteration accumulation. Open to all.
Using games inspired by ethology experiments, participants will compare their cognitive skills with those of different animal species. Games of memorization, logic, cooperation and video games will be on the program.
Join us for a lecture in the form of a quiz game on scientific discoveries in animal intelligence with the Kahoot! app. (android/iphone).
The media library can lend you tablets if you don't have a smartphone.
The winner will receive a 3D-printed prize.

Through a trans-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary approach, we propose activities and interventions. Here are just a few examples of the topics that will be covered during the event, in the form of stands and posters:
Intelligent sensors Intelligent plants Pollution bio-indicators Bacterial intelligence via quorum sensing The blob, a brainless being with intelligence Brain development AI : A great consumer of resources Brain Food The place of AI in dietetic care and consultation Diets and their impact on brain function Gut microbiota and its links with the brain Superfoods Nutrition and stress management Nutrition and brain development in children
