Motocultor Festival 2027: Helloween, The Hu, Halestorm... the first acts announced!

The Motocultor festival is already confirming its return next summer with a brand-new, 18th edition not to be missed from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 August 2027 in Carhaix, Brittany. On the lineup? The Hu, Helloween, Halestorm, Wind Rose, Slomosa, Dark Funeral, and John Bush!

Considered by many to be Hellfest's little brother, Motocultor Festival Open Air was first held in Brittany in 2007. Since then, the metal festival has come a long way. Based in Saint-Nolff, not far from Vannes in Brittany, the Motocultor Festival has featured a host of national and international artists since its inception, including Buzzcocks, Behemoth, Exodus, Eluveitie, Trivium, Sick of it all, Ultra Vomit, Opeth, Ministry and Soulfly.

After two cancelled editions in 2020 and 2021 due to the health crisis, the Motocultor Festival made its comeback in 2022 for 4 days, still in Saint-Nolff. A historic site that the festival has decided to leave behind. In the summer of 2023, the Motocultor Festival moved to a new playground in Carhaix ( where the Vieilles Charrues festival already takes place). The aim? To offer festival-goers a great line-up over four days.

In 2027, for its new and 18th edition, the Motocultor Festival returns to Carhaix with four new days dedicated to extreme music to be experienced on Thursday 19, Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 August.

What about the lineup? Get ready to catch John Bush live, who will perform songs by Anthrax from 1993 to 2003 for the occasion. The power metal band Helloween will also be in on it, as will The Hu, the talented Mongolian outfit, as well as Halestorm, led by Lzzy Hale.

Also check out the Italian outfit Wind Rose, the German trio Kanonenfieber, the Norwegian group Slomosa, the Swedish outfit Dark Funeral, the British act Malevolence, and the American newcomers Shadow of Intent. For the rest of the 2027 lineup, stay tuned! On the ticketing side, four-day Passes are already on sale. The first tier of tickets is officially sold out. Motocultor Festival announces that the next price tier is now 218 € with Early Bird 2.
