A must-attend festival for many metalheads in France and abroad, Hellfest returns to Clisson, once again showcasing hard rock, thrash metal, black metal, heavy metal, doom, death metal and alternative metal over four festive and explosive days and evenings.
The 2025 edition of Hellfest, not to be missed on Thursday June 19, Friday June 20, Saturday June 21 and Sunday June 22, once again promises festival-goers some memorable musical moments, thanks in particular to the presence of Korn, Scorpions, Linkin Park, Muse, Judas Priest, Within Temptation and Spiritbox! So many bands and artists to see and hear on Mainstages 1 & 2. Hellfest also features four other stages, including theAltar. Located right next to its sister, the Temple, the Altar stage is essentially dedicated to death metal, but also to progressive metal.

Did you miss them in 2022 during their very first set at Hellfest? Or, on the contrary, were you there and have a furious desire to see them live again? Ukrainian band Jinjer return to Clisson this summer to the delight of progressive metalcore fans. For their latest appearance, the Ukrainian quartet, driven by the overpowering vocals of Tatiana Shmayluk, should once again create some supercharged circle pits and mosh pits! So, are you ready to shake the Altar stage tent?
Do you know the girls from Nervosa? This summer, this Brazilian band will be taking to the Altar stage on Friday June 20, to blow your eyes and ears out with their hard-hitting, devastating tunes. In the saddle since 2010, the band's line-up has changed regularly. But Nervosa is always there, ready to get the European crowds going. Chosen to be part of the Hellfest 2025 warm-up, the São Paulo-based band's mission is to electrify the Altar for 45 minutes this summer!
They're French, and they've been making a lot of noise in recent months. This summer, Vestige arrives at Hellfest on the Altar stage, to bewitch you with their intoxicating style of modern, atmospheric and progressive metal. Prepare yourself for a memorable aural journey that's both poignant and exhilarating. Be warned, however, that you'll have to get up early to see them live. Vestige is scheduled for June 21 at... 10h30 !
Urne hail from the UK, and they'll be sure to please many ears at the Altar on June 21. Blending stoner, sludge, metalcore and progressive metal, the English trio already won us over with their set at Paris' Cabaret Sauvage last February, opening for Kvelertak. So, on June 21, Urne arrives at Hellfest with their powerful songs, notably from their latest opus, which was produced by Joe Duplantier of Gojira!
If you like progressive metal, this is a band you'll want to see again and again! This summer, Norway's Leprous return to Hellfest. After taking over the Mainstage in 2022, the Scandinavian band is set to rock the Altar stage. Leprous is a live act that's sure to win you over, thanks in particular to the astonishing voice of singer Einar Solberg, the remarkable playing of drummer Baard Kolstad and songs that are as bewitching as they are powerful.
