Nîmes Festival: Tokio Hotel and Kyo added to the 2027 lineup

Who hasn’t heard of the Festival de Nîmes, held every summer at the spectacular Nîmes Arena? Since its launch, the festival has showcased incredible international and French-speaking artists, including PJ Harvey, Placebo, Noir Désir, Ben Harper, David Bowie, The Cure, Compay Segundo, Depeche Mode, Rammstein, Metallica and many more.

Southern France is known for hosting more festivals than any other part of the country: theatre, music, dance and street theatre... every cultural discipline is represented. It’s no surprise, then, that the Nîmes Arena attracts several thousand visitors every year, drawn by how well the site has been preserved. Listed as a historic monument, the Nîmes Arena is, by its very architectural nature, an essential venue for shows and concerts.

After Jamiroquai, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Orelsan, Benjamin Biolay, Christophe Maé, Sabaton, Lenny Kravitz, Damso, Pixies, Sting, Marilyn Manson, Julien Doré, Bigflo & Oli and The Cure in 2026, who will rock the Festival de Nîmes in 2027? The festival has announced the first names for its next edition. Slash will be among them! The legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist will take the stage on June 15, 2027, alongside singer Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators.

Also performing at the Arènes de Nîmes are Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. The band will take the stage for a one-off concert not to be missed on June 16, 2027, showcasing their album "Dopamine Chamber". Other names on the bill? Rapper Ninho, Tokio Hotel and Kyo, as well as Christophe Maé. After playing to a sold-out crowd last year, the singer will return to the Arènes de Nîmes on Thursday, July 1, 2027.

For the rest of this 2027 program, stay tuned. Once again, an eclectic lineup will take center stage as the Arenas of Nîmes host a host of national and international stars.
