July 14th is a day to celebrate! And to mark the occasion, the town of Gennevilliers is hosting its traditional fireworks display for the Fête Nationale on July 13. From 10.45pm onwards, come and discover this extraordinary pyrotechnic show, fired from the top of the Town Hall tower, and marvel at the red, green and blue beauties.
"The fireworks display on Friday, July 14, 2023 is cancelled due to the events," said Gennevilliers town hall.
So, what are we going to do before the fireworks show? Stroll around the area, of course! Head forIle de la Jatte, between Neuilly and Levallois, for a lovely walk in the fresh air. You can also do a bit of shopping at La Défense, have lunch in one of the mall restaurants or take in the open-air exhibition on the esplanade, Les Extatiques. Or take a stroll through the Parc des Sévines, in Gennevilliers, and enjoy the facilities.
And where to dine before the fireworks? Why not pack a picnic and enjoy it with the whole family, again in the Parc des Sévines. Alternatively, take a stroll around the restaurants around the town hall. Or head a little further afield, to Asnières-sur-Seine, and discover the beautiful Splash menu on the banks of the Seine... So many great things to do, while waiting for the fireworks!
