July 14th Bastille Day in Houilles (78): dance concert and fireworks display

Friends of Houilles, Paris and the Paris region, mark your calendars! For the July 14th festivities, the town of Houilles, in the Yvelines department, is offering a variety of events to celebrate the Fête Nationale on July 13, 2023. From 5pm, the curious are invited to the Parc Charles de Gaulle to enjoy the activities set up for the occasion, before attending the traditional fireworks display at 11pm.

There's plenty of musical entertainment on the program, including Scratchophone Orchestra from 9pm to 11pm, who will set the mood for a popular ball with a "guinguette" feel, organized just for the occasion. At 11 p.m., marvel at the fireworks and enjoy a unique sound and light show on the theme of cinema, and from 11.30 p.m. to 2 a.m., sway to the sounds of DJ Jimena Angel to round off the evening in style.

And for those feeling a little peckish during the festivities, there are food trucks to satisfy every appetite, with Basque cuisine, burgers, and a wine and beer bar! Other activities should keep you busy before the musical entertainment and fireworks... with the Marine Nationale and the Protection Civile, to be discovered on site!

• 9pm to 11pm: Dance concert / Ball
• 11pm to 11:30pm: Cinema-themed fireworks display
