Fête Nationale 2026 in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (78): fireworks canceled, public dance still on

Facing the risk of fire, the city adjusts the July 13 evening celebrations. The municipality, committed to republican gathering and the moments of solidarity they symbolize, has explored every reasonable option, in collaboration with the departmental fire and rescue services, to preserve the possibility of the city’s fireworks display.

Unfortunately, the conditions are not in place, and Conflans—like most towns in the Yvelines region—must cancel the highlight of the evening, eagerly anticipated by both young and old. That said, Conflans will still be in festive spirits on July 13. The planned activities remain on the schedule, and residents are invited to consult the evening program and come out in force to share this moment of conviviality and togetherness.

Feeling like celebrating the National Day this year? Great timing, because there are plenty of festivities planned in Paris and across the Île-de-France region for the occasion. Naturally, we think of the military and air parades on July 14, but also the firefighter balls and popular dances, not to mention the must-see fireworks that will light up the Île-de-France skies that night.

And what about the festivities in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine? The town in the Yvelines is also set to celebrate the National Day! The event is scheduled for July 13, 2026, featuring several highlights: a popular ball and, of course, a fireworks display. To attend in the best possible conditions, the municipality notes: "multiple sites are available to you, the Place Fouillère, along the Seine quays, or from the terraces of the Château du Prieuré.
