July 14th national holiday in Clichy-sous-Bois (93): picnic and fireworks at Clichy Plage

Every year, France celebrates July 14th. This is hardly surprising, given that it's the country's national holiday. On this special day, the whole country joins in the ballet of traditional celebrations. Popular balls, torchlight processions, fireworks displays and other festivities take place in every corner of the country. Paris catches the eye with its famous military parade down the Champs-Elysées , while in the evening an iconic firework display lights up the Eiffel Tower. If the City of Light is going all out for the Fête Nationale, the surrounding region is not lacking in imagination, with numerous towns and cities in the Ile-de-France region offering a wide range of events.

The event transforms the town hall's lawn into a seaside resort, with a giant aqualudic installation and a host of activities for young and old alike.
