Bastille Day on July 14 in Thiais (94): Fireworks and firemen's ball on July 13, 2023

France's Fête Nationale takes place on July 14, a date that commemorates, among other things, the storming of the Bastille, a key event in the French Revolution. Every year, this public holiday is marked by festive traditions: firemen's balls, fireworks displays (including the one fired from the Eiffel Tower) and theinevitable Military Parade across theChamps-Elysées avenue. As you can imagine, the program promises to be packed on this day of celebrations.

Andwhile all eyes will be on Paris, there's plenty of festive spirit in the Île-de-France region too. In all four corners of the region, many communes are unveiling their own events to mark the occasion. These celebrations are generally spread between July 13 and 14. But that's not all: the commune also invites you to a firemen's ball starting at 9pm at the Rungis rescue center, located on avenue de Stalingrad in the commune of Chevilly-Larue.
