July 14th is Bastille Day in France. For the occasion, the whole country prepares to mark the occasion with traditional celebrations including fireworks displays, including the one fired from the Eiffel Tower, popular balls, firemen's balls and other colorful entertainment. In the Paris region, the whole of theÎle-de-France region takes part in the festivities, with a wide range of events on offer between July 13 and 14.

Located at the gateway to Paris, just behind the Bois de Vincennes, Le Perreux-sur-Marne is a charming town with a history dating back to the Middle Ages.
