Program for the Fête nationale 2025 in Fontainebleau :

Once again, we look forward to seeing you on Sunday July 13, from 10am to midnight, to celebrate Bastille Day. The traditional ceremony and military parade will be complemented by a rich program all day long! Dress up in your finest, hold your flags proudly, and come and enjoy! See the full program.

  • Baptisms in vintage vehicles From 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4.15 p.m. to 8 p.m., take a trip back in time in vintage vehicles, thanks to the UNIVEM association. Meet at one of three starting points: the bus stop on rue Grande (in front of the church), Place de Gaulle (near the bus stop) and in front of the Post Office, and climb aboard a half-track, Citroën or Jeep, to take a trip back in time to the 1940s.
  • Entertainment for all The Place de la République will be buzzing all day, from 10am to 7pm, to the rhythm of historic re-enactments: exhibition of period vehicles, children's games, photobooth, 40s make-up and hairdressing workshop... And the icing on the cake will be a book signing with Romain Hugault, the event's illustrator. Little bonus: if you come dressed in the spirit of the 40s, you could be selected to take part in the Victory Parade in the vehicles!
  • Military and Victory parades From 3pm, settle in between Place du Général de Gaulle and Place de l'Étape to watch the official ceremony and military parade. Immediately afterwards, it's time for the Victory Parade, where all the vehicles and re-enactors will bring to life the atmosphere of a historic July 13. A few surprises may well find their way into the procession...
  • Republican ball and picnic From 7pm, in Place de la République, extend the festivities with a convivial picnic or food from the foodtrucks. At 8pm, the orchestra kicks off the Republican Ball, with skirts and memories swirling. And for night owls, a DJ set will keep the square buzzing until midnight.
