Every year, France celebrates its national holiday on July 14, a date chosen to commemorate both the storming of the Bastille and the Fête de la Fédération. In the run-up to this public holiday, in the heart of summer, the whole country is marked by traditional celebrations.
All over France, fireworks light up the sky as night falls, while dancers take to the stage at popular balls and fire department balls. During the day, military parades, Republican picnics and much more await young and old alike.
In Paris, highlights include the fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower, and the military parade that traditionally takes place on theChamps-Elysées avenue. As for the rest of the Île-de-France region, the festivities are also expected in large numbers!
Most towns in the Ile-de-France region organize their festivities between July 13 and 14, allowing some to find a program close to home and others to take advantage of the opportunity to conquer the region's heritage.
In Seine-et-Marne, the riverside town of Champagne-sur-Seine awaits you on Sunday July 13, 2025 at the Stade Paul Hébras. This is your chance to discover this charming town, with its old town center, river banks, churches and the former Schneider factory.
The national holiday is approaching! To mark the occasion, the town of Champagne-sur-Seine is pleased to invite you to the traditional fireworks display. Join us on July 13, 2025 at the Stade Paul Hébras from 10pm, to enjoy the food court with La Buvette à Nous, Foodstop and Granités.
