To celebrate France's national holiday in style, Chelles town council invites you to join them on Chelles mountain on Sunday July 13, 2025. As you'll have gathered, the festivities in this Seine-et-Marne town don't take place on D-day, but rather the evening before, so don't be mistaken!
Chelles has a long and fascinating history. It has been home to such historic figures as Clovis, King of the Franks, and Clotilde, his widow, who founded a women's monastery in Chelles. The town was also the birthplace of Clotaire III and was visited by Charlemagne. The architects of Notre-Dame de Paris, Jehan de Chelles and Pierre de Chelles, were originally from this town. Many artists and cultural personalities, including Mistinguett and Maurice Chevalier, have also lived in Chelles.
This year, for the Fête nationale 2025, there will be no popular ball in Chelles. But dry your tears! The municipality is organizing a magnificent fireworks display! Admission is free, so don't miss this opportunity to celebrate with family and friends!
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 9pm onwards, come and enjoy a summer evening in a green setting, with family or friends. Let yourself be tempted by sweet treats and cold drinks, in a convivial atmosphere.
Then at 11pm, let the magic happen... A pyrotechnic show awaits you: a grandiose fireworks display* accompanied by light shows and music, on the theme of the extraordinary landscapes of our blue planet. A sensory voyage not to be missed!
