National Day 2026 in Mesnil-Amelot (77): fireworks canceled, concert of Florent Pagny's songs

In light of a prefectural decree banning fireworks amid the current high fire risk, the town of Mesnil-Amelot is canceling its fireworks display. However, the rest of the program will go ahead as planned.

Every summer, in the run-up to July 14th, France is decked out in blue-white-and-red to celebrate its national holiday. The country is ablaze - literally - with firemen's balls, fireworks, popular festivals and military parades. While Paris attracts the crowds with its emblematic parade down the Champs-Élysées and its spectacular fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower, the festivities don't stop at the gates of the capital.

Set course for Seine-et-Marne (77), where Le Mesnil-Amelot is preparing an ultra-festive July 13 evening, designed to bring together all generations around music, good food and the republican spirit.
