Fête Nationale in Viry-Chatillon (91): Fireworks, concerts and entertainment on July 13, 2023

France's national holiday is officially celebrated on July 14. It's one of the highlights of the summer, and with good reason: traditional festive events are held all over the country! To the delight of young and old alike, festivities are held, swaying at popular balls and firemen's balls, and at nightfall fireworks shoot across the sky.

Among the must-see celebrations on this public holiday are, of course, the impressive military parade down the Champs Elysées and the emblematic fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower. And while the capital is sure to be the center of attention on this festive day, the region is not to be outdone: all over the Île-de-France region, communes are taking it in turns to unveil their programs, generally spread between July 13 and 14, 2023.

On the program for July 13, 2023:

Starting at 7 p.m. on the forecourt of the Halle des Sports, children's entertainment will include:

• inflatable structures,
• trampolines,
• outdoor games

Starting at 7:30pm, the group Cheyenne will set the rhythm for the evening, getting young and old alike up and dancing to the hits of recent decades: rock, pop, funk or variety... there'll be something for everyone! Finally, at 11pm, the traditional fireworks display will bring the evening to a close. Foodtrucks will be on hand throughout the evening: Jim's snack, O Ptits Oignons, Mon camion pizza, Glaces Zoé, antillais and a sweets stand. You can also bring your own picnic, but please note that alcohol consumption is prohibited on site.
