If you're looking for goodies to present to your guests this holiday season 2023, head for Le Vésinet and its Norwegian Christmas market, held once again at theNorwegian Church! On Saturday November 18 and Sunday November 19, 2023, from 12pm to 5pm, you'll discover - in a charming little garden decorated in the colors of Christmas - a little house that hosts the market all weekend long. Proud of their culture and traditions, the Norwegian volunteers who run the market are eager to share them with you!
At the stalls, you'll find traditional handmade Christmas decorations, objects and winter clothing from leading Norwegian brands, not to mention a host of tasty food products: smoked/marinated Norwegian salmon, pickled herring, Norwegian cheese, a wide selection of culinary specialties, chocolates, cakes and traditional Christmas cookies.
And of course, it's not just about shopping, it's also about lunching and sampling all sorts of goodies!
On the menu, you'll find salmon sandwiches and moose burgers prepared on the garden barbecue. For dessert or a snack, try one of the home-made pastries, or a hot waffle made on site, accompanied by a glass of glögg (a typical mulled wine!).
