Letter to Santa Claus: get your gift list ready, the office is open!

Have you been good this year? Be honest, Santa keeps detailed lists... If you've been good, then you deserve a little gift at the end of the year! Santa Claus is waiting for your orders: his office is open fromNovember 19 to December 20, 2025. Young and old alike have about a month to send their letters to the jolly old man in red, and hope to see their wishes come true under the decoratedtree.

Once again this year, La Poste is committed to traveling to the North Pole to deliver children's letters to Santa Claus. In return, Santa Claus replies to everyone who writes to him, enclosing a little game or coloring page with a seasonal theme in his letter.

With such an exceptional global enterprise, Santa Claus has had to delegate: letters addressed to the bearded character are sent to Libourne, in Gironde, where 60 dedicated postal workers are committed to replying to every letter, in French or English.

But what exactly is Santa'saddress? Santa guards his secret jealously. To send him mail, all you have to do is write "Santa Claus" on the envelope, and the letter carriers do the rest. Best of all, you don't need a stamp to send your letter! However, don't forget to include your child's name and address if you want a reply from the famous character. To be sure of receiving a reply from the star of the season, send your letter before December 20.

Do your hyper-connected children think writing a letter on paper is old-fashioned? Never mind: Santa Claus knows how to move with the times and also has a website. On the official website of his secretariat, you can access a messaging service and send a digital letter to Santa Claus. 

Santa's secretariat website also features games, crafts, a pre-Christmas sleep counter, a digital Advent calendar... and a few surprises to discover.

Created in 1962, this service is still very popular, and keeps the magic of Christmas alive for children and their parents alike. A lovely tradition that adds a little magic to the festive season.
