Parisian Christmas markets are very popular, but there is also magic to be found in the suburbs! On the weekend of December 13-14, 2025, the Château de Maisons in Maisons-Laffitte (Yvelines - 78) will be transformed into a veritable festive kingdom for the second edition of its Christmas Market. How regal!
In the estate's gardens, artisans and designers will set up their temporary chalets filled with handmade jewelry, unique decorations, and authentic gift ideas to slip under the tree.
But the experience doesn't stop at the stalls! Visitors can enjoy carriage rides in the park (2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., departing every 20 minutes, last departure at 5:40 p.m.),creative workshops for the whole family aged 3 and up (Christmas cookie decorating and snow globe making from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., subject to availability), as well as a baking contest revisiting traditional recipes in front of a jury of professionals.
To create an even warmer atmosphere, a Christmas choir will perform in the Cour d'Honneur, while Santa Claus will make appearances to delight the children and immortalize these moments with a festive photo booth. On Saturday, Christmas story readings (3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.) will transport young and old alike into a poetic world.
Organized by the Château de Maisons, in partnership with the Maisons-Laffitte International association and the City, this Christmas weekend invites you to make wonderful discoveries in a majestic setting.
