Christmas lights 2025 in Saint-Denis (93): gospel music & hot chocolate

Ready for the holiday season? The first signs of Christmas can already be seen in November in the Paris region. Little by little, the magic of the holidays enchantsthe Île-de-France region. In front of the department stores, the windows come alive. In the streets, the sky lights up. Christmas markets are popping upeverywhere. Sometimes, Christmas ice rinks even appear . And so, the nostalgic atmosphere of the season enchants young and old alike throughout the season.

Inthe Seine-Saint- , the city of Saint-Denis is getting ready for the kickoff. The date is set for November 28, 2025, for the launch of the Christmas lights. The starting signal will be given at 6:30 p.m. on the square in front of the Basilica of Saint-Denis, an unmissable monument that houses the necropolis of the kings of France. Once the lights are lit, the general public will be treated to hot chocolate and mulled wine while enjoying a performance by theDiony's Voice gospel choir.

And that's just the beginning: a little later, one of the highlights of Christmas in Saint-Denis, the Bel Hiver event, will allow the general public to enjoy wonderful festive entertainment throughout December.
