From the end of November, Paris and the Île-de-France region are lit up under a sparkling blanket: Christmas markets, gourmet chalets, carousels, and magical villages transform the region into an enchanted open-air retreat. Must-see events such as those in the Tuileries, La Défense, and Saint-Germain-des-Prés invite you to stroll among artisans, sweet treats, and entertainment for young and old alike. Between the scent of cinnamon, twinkling lights, and selfies with Santa Claus, the atmosphere is both warm and festive, ideal for getting into the holiday spirit.
In Rueil-Malmaison (92), the magic of Christmas unfolds from November 29, 2025, to January 4, 2026. The Christmas Village features rides, food stands, a Christmas market, and souvenir photos with Santa Claus... everything you need to enjoy winter to the fullest! The market is open until December 24, Tuesday through Sunday, while the funfair and sweet treats stand extend the magic until January 4.
Little explorers can climb and marvel at Baby Grimp and the animated chalets on the square in front of the Town Hall, while Santa's house (Fridays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) will welcome them with their letters until December 13. The Empress Josephine boutique is also joining in the festivities by offering champagne tastings and Emperor's Terrine toasts (for ages 18+) on December 20.
Among the highlights, the Grand Christmas Parade will take place on Friday, December 12 at 6 p.m. The program includes illuminated floats, sparkling costumes, and crazy performers, preceded by a free snack at 4:30 p.m. on Place Luly. The parade route stretches from Boulevard Foch to Rue de Maurepas, offering a colorful and bright stroll, before the festivities continue throughout the season.
