Easter vacations 2023 at Domaine de Dampierre en Yvelines

With the return of fine weather, the castles of the Ile-de-France region are a prime target for a family outing in the spring of 2023, especially as the flowers are gradually blooming in their beautiful gardens. In the Yvelines, the Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines has even planned free activities for children during the Easter vacations 2023, from April 22 to May 9.

On the program, the Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines has planned everything: animations in the gardens, land art workshops, spring tales... included in the entrance ticket. But there are also tons of activities to do in this magnificent domain: the Chimera trail, for example, a fun and historical trail to find a disappeared garden whose plans were discovered in the attics of the castle. It's up to you to go on an adventure in the gardens of the place: a booklet of riddles will be given to you free of charge at the ticket office to help you in your quest and find the trace of the gardener who created them. The chimera trail is also available as a guided tour (1 hour, 2 kilometers).

While walking through the gardens, you will also find a natural playground to have fun for hours, as well as a picnic area. You can also go for a walk on the " chemin de Libellules", a walk around the Domaine de Dampierre that allows you to discover the biodiversity and the history of the domain with the help of QR codes, hidden everywhere in the garden. For the little ones, from 3 to 8 years old, the Domaine offers pony rides for an hour, to go around the pond and discover horse riding from a young age. Otherwise, take a carriage for a ride in the gardens of the castle on board a mule-drawn carriage or prefer the electric option of electric carts, the more sportive one of rosalies or, the most romantic of rides by renting a boat at the Domaine.
