How about celebrating Easter in a cultural, fun and witty venue? The Maison-Musée Raymond Devos, nestled in the heart of Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, invites you to join us on Sunday April 20, 2025 for a festive afternoon of egg hunts, creative workshops and a guided tour full of anecdotes. An original program to celebrate Easter and immerse yourself in the poetic and burlesque world of the master of wordplay.

A fun egg hunt

From 2:00 pm, it's time for an egg hunt in the house garden: each child, equipped with a small egg box, must find four eggs of the same color to win a chocolate reward. The game is accessible to children aged 3 and over (€3 per child), under the parents' responsibility, in a charming green setting.

A playful immersion in the world of an iconic comedian

What makes this egg hunt truly unique is the spirit of Raymond Devos that hangs over the event. Did you know that he collected replica eggs? Some of them are now scattered around the museum, offering a second level of hunt, this time for older children. A fun way to explore the house, while spotting the winks scattered here and there.

From 2pm, there will also be free, open-access creative workshops. Your children can give free rein to their imagination by painting on eggs, coloring,writing... Activities designed to stimulate creativity, in the whimsical spirit so dear to Devos. An opportunity to share a playful moment with the family, between laughter and paintbrushes.

An original visit to discover Devos in a new light

At 3pm, a themed guided tour is offered: "Derrière la coquille, découvrons Raymond Devos autrement". For the first time, the museum looks back at the artist's intimate relationship with eggs, a recurring theme in his texts and his imagination. This visit will reveal previously unpublished anecdotes about his youth, his creative process and his attachment to symbolic objects. A touching and original immersion not to be missed.

An unusual Easter event for young and old
