The gardens of the Château de Thoiry once againplay host to children's favorite annualegg hunt . Don't miss this Easter egg hunt, on Sunday April 20 and Monday April 21, 2025, with access to thousands of chocolate eggs!

In the family of egg hunts around Paris, the one at Thoiry Zoo is undoubtedly one of the most attractive for little ones. For the record, this egg hunt has been going strong for almost 40 years now. It was originally invented by the Count and Countess de La Panouse for their own children. As you can imagine, the treasure hunt quickly became a favorite with children and a must for visitors.

For this 2025 edition, no fewer than 5,000 colorful eggs, to be exchanged for delicious chocolate eggs, will be found in the nooks and crannies of the château gardens, from 10am to 3.30pm. Once again this year, look out for the big eggs for surprise prizes! Keep your eyes peeled! And because the little ones also have the right to try their luck, an area adapted to their size and age will be open with customized hiding places.

The animals are also celebrating Easter ! For the occasion, the caretakers will be handing out eggs glazed with syrup and fruit, specially designed for the primates, while the wildcats will be tasting eggs gorged with meat juice... During feeding sessions or at the bend in the path, keep an eye out for the animals savouring their treats!

The rules of the game:

• 5,000 colored eggs hidden in the park on foot per day.
• Simple, effective rules:
  • 3/5 years: classic egg hunt
  • 7/11 years: secret investigation with the help of a game booklet
• 12 surprise eggs hidden in the park (with gifts)
• Reception point for chocolate combinations at the Yurt Camp.
