So, what’s on for the Easter weekend? Of course, a classic Easter egg hunt! In the Yvelines, head to Rambouillet, at the National Sheepfold, for a family-friendly Easter egg hunt, happening from Saturday, April 4 to Monday, April 6, 2026. This event is open to children aged 3 to 12. Take note that this activity also runs during the school holidays, from April 18 to May 3.
Participating is easy: each child is given an empty egg carton and set off to find six colorful eggs hidden throughout Bergerie, all while meeting the animals along the way. Once their box is full, bingo! They’re rewarded with a chocolate surprise to celebrate Easter. Later on, they might even have the chance to hunt for more eggs hidden in the central circle using metal detectors!
This Easter egg hunt at the farm is also a perfect opportunity to introduce your children to the animals at the National Sheep Farm. They can watch a milking demonstration during an informative tour, help feed the barnyard animals, or explore the Montorgueil Garden with its barefoot trail. Plus, there’s the historic Louis XVI Arboretum, where kids can hunt for hidden characters nestled among the trees.
You can also enjoy a snack on-site at Mérinos Café, which offers indulgent cakes and warm beverages all year round.
