For Easter 2026, an exclusive tea experience will make its debut in France at La Grande Épicerie in Paris’s rue de Sèvres, from March 23 to April 5. A delightful culinary break featuring pastries, chocolates, and sweet treats, perfect for indulging in the heart of the Left Bank.

In Paris and throughout Île-de-France, Easter is no longer just about two bells and three hastily hidden eggs in a ficus. The season bursts with egg hunts, tastings, creative workshops, and activities in parks, museums, and historic sites... and even in shops. The Easter weekend is now a celebration both outdoors and around the dining table. And this year, one of the most tempting breaks can be enjoyed at La Grande Épicerie de Paris, on rue de Sèvres.

From March 23 to April 5, 2026, La Maison du Chocolat is set to transform the Cellier, within the Cave area, into a tasting haven, offering visitors an exclusive on-site chocolate tasting experience for the first time ever in their store. This marks a debut in France for the house, which usually hosts this format only in its international boutiques.

The concept? An Easter tea time with no reservation required, served at a charming counter with about fifteen seats. You can stop by just for a pastry or choose from one of the set menus—perhaps a slice of flan with two macarons, or a tartlet paired with five chocolates... Warm and cold drinks are available to accompany your treat, featuring the classic homemade hot chocolate. And for those wanting to add a festive twist to their afternoon, a glass of champagne is also on offer.

For those who take their afternoon treats seriously, the full tea time offered is more indulgent: a slice of cake, a piece of homemade pastry, a serving of flan, a cream puff, an éclair, a tartlet, a delicate mousse, six macarons, and six chocolates.

Beyond this delightful cacao experience, Easter celebrations also include masterclasses and an egg hunt inside the store. It’s set to make this Left Bank stop one of the most coveted seasonal treats.
