The Easter weekend, taking place on April 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2026 — and more broadly throughout the entire month of April — is a time to celebrate this religious (or not) holiday. But above all, it's an ideal opportunity to enjoy a fantastic Easter egg hunt. In Essonne, egg hunts are happening all across the département—would you like us to take you on a tour of some of the best ones?
By 2026, you'll have a range of options: stick with the classic egg hunt organized by your nearest town — a proven hit with kids — or venture into a more unconventional egg hunt, choosing one held at extraordinary locations (on a farm, inside castles, museums...).
The good news is that no matter which egg hunt you choose this year, there will always be little chocolate eggs to hunt and great rides (well, sprints to find the egg first) to enjoy with the whole family. The bad news is that with our selection, you're going to have to choose an Easter egg hunt (at least, if it's bookable, we strongly advise you to do so in advance to make sure you've got places for the whole family!)
So, this lovely Easter weekend 2026 (fingers crossed for sunshine), why not head to one of the egg hunts happening across the Essonne department!
