The Saint-Jean de Beauregard estate in Essonne is inviting children and adults alike to its Easter egg hunt on April 5 and 6, 2026. What’s in store? Delicious chocolate eggs for the kids, engaging workshops, and fun activities for the whole family — all set in a beautiful springtime setting for a memorable and festive day!

The Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard Castle, much like the Vaux le Vicomte Castle, Breteuil, or Thoiry, also opens its doors to families for a memorable Easter egg hunt on April 5 and 6, 2026. Children will be taken on a journey through this stunning estate — exploring the grounds, the French formal garden, the boxwood borders, and the trimmed hedges — in search of thousands of faux eggs hidden specially for the occasion.

From 2 PM to 6 PM, every hour, children aged 3 to 10 can embark on an egg hunt through the park's woodland areas. The hunt takes place in two designated zones: one for the younger kids with their parents, and another for the older children! Their goal? To find five white eggs hidden at the base of trees, behind bushes, beneath branches, or nestled among the leaves, along with a special golden egg that holds a treasure!

Then exchange it for a bag of real chocolate eggs to ensure everyone gets a share of these delicious treats! This Easter egg hunt is open to all without the need for prior reservation.

In addition to the traditional egg hunt, many activities are also organized for children: a hands-on chocolate workshop, creating paper flowers, the Olympic Egg Race, treasure hunts, drawing contests, and much more.

Don't forget the castle's animals, whom children will have the chance to meet during this special weekend, as well as the guided tour of the flower-filled vegetable garden, the castle, and the dovecote.
