For the European Heritage Days, Citéco is opening its doors all weekend long! Come and discover an extraordinary place, right in the heart of Plaine Monceau: a real castle in the heart of Paris, classified as a historic monument.

Built in the 19th century for Émile Gaillard, a banker with a passion for medieval and Renaissance art, this one-of-a-kind mansion was subsequently converted in the 1920s by the Banque de France to house a branch. It still boasts an impressive vault surrounded by a moat, a monumental public hall and a wealth of architecture combining medieval, neo-Renaissance and art deco styles.

Fully restored, the building is now home to the Cité de l'Économie, a fun, interactive museum that makes major economic concepts accessible through games, videos, manipulations and immersive scenography.

Throughout the weekend, our mediators will be on hand with flash presentations, sharing unusual anecdotes, architectural details and well-kept secrets about this singular place.

And to extend the experience, treat yourself to a gourmet break under the Inform Café's large glass roof, or stroll through the bookshop-boutique, packed with books, unusual objects and gift ideas.

A place not to be missed by those curious about heritage, history... and the economy!
